Tasting Notes

A golden IPA with light biscuit and citrus aromas. Crisp pear flavours with a good body and a long dry finish.

What makes it special?

This IPA is the second experiment of our IPA Project Series of 2013 . This experiment was done to show drinkers the difference that adding more hops and increasing the abv has upon a beer. The beers were dry hopped using different techniques to see how this would impact upon the flavour of the beer. Bell Rock has less hops, which were added as whole cones to the condtioning tank, and a lower abv than its big brother Bell Rock and Hop.

Bell Rock is named after a northern Scottish lighthouse off the coast of Angus.
