A rich dark stout with a creamy tan head. A smooth inviting aroma of sweet coffee and chocolate. The taste is of smooth coffee with a roasted bitter finish.
What makes it special?
This beer was originally brewed as a beer for our Battle of the Brewers with Stewart Brewing. We have long had plans to brew a cold infused coffee stout and took this as the opportunity to do so. To get the coffee right we enrolled the help of The Coffee Guy from Home Ground Coffee. Alastair helped us in sourcing five different types of coffee beans from ethical farms in; Brazil, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, and Ethiopia that he felt would blend well with the stout.
The results are a fantastically smooth stout with a real coffee hit. Since our brewers run on coffee we felt that Brewer’s Fuel was the perfect name.
