FYNE ALES ONLINE SHOP – VENISON BOXES

We’re excited to once again be able to offer venison meat boxes on our online shop – with deliveries available from either 17/9/2020 or 24/9/2020!

Following the incredible, sell-out popularity of our trial back May, we’ve teamed up again with expert Scottish butchers to prepare and ship a new selection of meat boxes featuring our incredible, sustainably-farmed venison – and they’re available to order now. As with last time, the venison will be delivered fresh from our butcher partner on a specific date, but this time it’s up to you whether you want delivery next week (from 17/9/2020) or the week after (from 24/9/2020).

In the unlikely event that the boxes don’t sell out on presales, gor both delivery windows, we’ll extend availability for an extra few days – orders placed up until the day before delivery (16/9/2020 and 23/9/2020) will be shipped for delivery on the 17/9/2020 and 24/9/2020, but later orders will be shipped immediately.

For those that missed out the first time around, this is your opportunity to experience the beautiful flavour of our spent-grain-fed animals, as our herd of red deer continues to go from strength to strength in the peaceful shelter of Glen Fyne.

And it’s the spent grain diet that has helped give our venison its special flavour – our meat is slightly milder and sweeter, as well as being more tender and more consistent than stalked animals might produce. It still has some rich gamey-ness, but it’s never overpowering, making it more versatile for cooking at home. The meat is also very high in protein and low in fat and cholesterol, offering heaps of flavour with very little downside.

The other factor that makes our venison special is Stu MacLachlan, our farmer and stockman; who takes a huge amount of pride in the produce from his animals. Stu brought years of deer farming experience with him when he arrived at Glen Fyne in early 2018 and has overseen our herd as it’s grown – ensuring the animals live happy and stress-free lives, which really does make a difference to the flavour and quality of our meat. Check out this short video filmed as we followed Stuart on a day working with his animals.

We’ve made some small tweaks to the boxes available – over on the online shop you’ll find three options: Family Venison Box, Venison Feast Box and Prime Venison Box. All three are available for delivery in either week (until they sell out). Check out the options over on the shop and get your order in quick!

Check out the venison box options now, over on the Fyne Ales online shop.
