HEAD BREWER

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for someone to join the Fyne Ales team and make their mark in the UK brewing industry as Head Brewer. 

THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit a Head Brewer to lead a team of experienced and qualified brewers and a draft beer packaging and warehousing team. The right candidate will be looking to develop the roles of the whole team, be motivated to constantly improve the quality of the core beers and be ambitious with development of new beers and capabilities. An appetite for the challenges of leading a team in rural Argyll is also a must.

The role is based in Argyll and therefore we can offer accommodation on the brewery estate, living adjacent to the stunning shores of Loch Fyne, and a competitive salary, dependent on experience, plus benefits.

SALES ADMINISTRATOR – ROLE CLOSED

As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for candidates for the new position of Sales Administrator.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking someone to become a key member of our small office team in a role straddling Sales and Marketing support, with the ideal candidate able to balance a wide range of responsibilities across all areas.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • – Sales Administration
    • Sales Support – Orders, credit notes, general enquiries
    • Processing and invoicing portal orders
    • Issuing statements, invoices and delivery notes
    • Logistics coordination
    • Ecommerce support
    • Brewery Tap support
  • – Marketing Support
    • Trade and consumer mailers
    • Event logistics
  • – Additional duties including annual leave cover for other members of the Sales & Marketing team.

BREWERY TAP & SHOP TEAM MEMBER – ROLE CLOSED.

Want to work at one of the most beautiful brewery locations in the world?

Fyne Ales is seeking someone to join our Brewery Tap & Shop for the busy summer season. The part-time position is for 2 days per week, every Tuesday and Wednesday.

We’re looking for someone energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about beer to help tell our visitors the Fyne Ales story. The ideal candidate will have a confident, chatty personality. Must be over 18.

Perfect for someone located in the local area, bar & customer service experience is preferred but training will be provided.

PACKAGING & WAREHOUSE OPERATOR – ROLE CLOSED.

We’ve got a great opportunity to join the Fyne Ales team as we gear up for a busy season – if you are a hard worker and enjoy good beer, then this could be the role for you. We are looking for someone to join the team on the packaging and warehousing end of our production.

The role will involve cleaning, steaming and filling casks and kegs with the best craft beers we can make, as well as responsibility for stock coordination and preparation for dispatch. Additional responsibilities will include occasionally joining the production line during bottling days and local delivery runs as and when required. We are always trying to develop as a team, and we are looking for someone who is interested to learn more about making outstanding craft beer.

The ideal person will be a hard worker, who is up to the physical demands of the job. You need to be accurate with a meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every single pint of beer that leaves our premises meets our standards.  You will more than likely enjoy good beer, want to learn more about the process, and enjoy working in a great team.  A driving licence and transport to get yourself to our location at the head of Loch Fyne is essential.
