#FyneFest19: Five New Fyne Beers To Find
#FyneFest19 is mere days away, and with over 250+ beers to choose from, making your way to the main bar might be a little daunting. So, we figured we’d try and help give you a bit of direction by shining a spotlight on five new(ish) beers we’ll be showing this weekend!
1. Everyone Loves Amarillo
3.8% Single-hop session pale ale
One of three (3!) new beers debuting at FyneFest, Everyone Loves Amarillo is the latest in our rotating single-hop session series, all based around the recipe for our flagship blonde, Jarl. This outing sees the series showcase an American modern classic, Amarillo, brimming with orange flavours and easy on the bitterness for an infinitely quaffable session pale ale.
Catch it on cask on tap 39 on the Main Bar.
2. Sour Friends: Mojito
4% Lime & mint sour
The latest in our Sour Friends series is a cocktail inspired refreshing treat perfect for the sunshine we’re definitely getting this weekend. Definitely. Sour Friends: Mojito has been gently kettle-soured before heaps of zesty lime and a touch of fresh mint was added to finish it – it’s beautifully vibrant and clean.
Find refreshment on tap 24 on the Main Bar all weekend!
3. Light Years
4.1% Session IPA w/ Magic Rock
With FyneFest and Magic Rock’s Sesh Fest in close proximity, we felt it wise to invite the Huddersfield brewery’s Stu back to his beloved Scotland for a cheeky session ABV collab to pour at both fests! Light Years is a multi-hop extravaganza – juicy citrus up front and enough bitterness bite in the finish to satisfy.
Check out the collab on tap 38 on the Main Bar throughout the weekend.
4. Pink Rabbits
3.8% Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream Pale
So Pink Rabbits has been around for a week or so now, but it was such a tiny batch that it’s basically a new beer for most people who’ll try it at the festival. This raspberry ripple ice cream pale is an example of the fun side of our small-batch specials program – it’s light, creamy and has a whack of juicy, and slightly tart raspberry in the finish.
Treat yo self on cask (taps 54-55) or keg (taps 17-24), popping up at some point during the fest!
5. Festbier!
5.6% Marzen
Another one that’s new-ish, Festbier! Is a, erm… festbier. Brewed by our Technical Brewer and qualified Braumeister Yvonne, it’s a Reinheitsgebot-adhering classic German-style amber ale. It’s full-bodied, rounded and smooth with flavours of rich toffee and a warming finish. Perfect if the weather does betray us!
Pouring on keg (taps 1-5) and cask (taps 60-66) as part of the rotational line-up.
So five new Fyne beers for FyneFest funtimes – fantastic!
