#FyneFest22 Updates – Everything Else
It’s time for our third and final FyneFest 2022 update for ticket-holders, at least until we think of some more things we need to share in the run-up to the festival…
This blog focuses on the extra bits, the little things – everything else that we haven’t already covered. It’s maybe not as exciting as beer or bingo, but it is full of super-useful info, so give it a read.
Final Early Access Tickets
We’re down to the final few Early Access tickets for the festival, allowing you to arrive from 4pm on Thursday 2 June!
Thursday night looks like it’s going to be a nice little warm-up for the weekend – for those coming along, we’ll have a few food vendors serving, the Brewers Lounge will be pouring (including the James Clay Best of Europe Bar) and there’s a couple of live bands and a DJ playing to get the party started.
If you’ve already got your early-access tickets booked, please, please don’t arrive before 4pm as queuing on the road could be a danger for traffic trying to exit or access the site while set-up is finished.
FyneFest Goes Cashless (Mostly)
For this year’s FyneFest, we’re going (mostly) cashless!
What does that mean? Well, it means tokens, merch and purchases from the Brewery Shop can only be paid for using card over FyneFest weekend, and no cashback will be available.
We do recommend bringing along a little bit of cash as there will be a few places where you might need it.
- – Beer Tokens and Merchandise can only be paid for using card.
- – Some food vendors will be card-only, but some will also take cash.
- – Food at the Walkers Bar is cash-only.
- – Quiz entry is cash-only (£2 per player, for charity).
- – Bingo is cash-only (no more than £10 per person, cash prizes).
- – Car-park passes are cash-only (£5, save by booking online).
- – Shower payment is via beer tokens (2 per shower)
No cashback will be available on site.
Glasgow & Local Buses – Last Chance!
Tickets for the FyneFest buses – both Glasgow and local – are also running low, so if you’ve left your transport arrangements to the last minute, now is the time to act.
To book the Glagsow bus, head to the link below:
To book the local minibus (covering Inveraray, Furnace, Strachur, Arrochar and Cairndow), ping an email to email@example.com with your desired journey days/times and your phone number we’ll give you a shout with availability.
A reminder that if you’re bringing your canine friend to FyneFest, you need to register your pup in advance of the weekend via the form on the website (link below) and agree that you have read and understood the dog policy – the main points of which are:
- Dogs must be on leads at all times (excluding the dog run field).
- No dogs permitted in the Main Marquee at any time.
Site Map & Parking Update
The FyneFest 2022 site map is now online!
There’s not many changes to the layout of the site for FyneFest 2022 – but as you can see for yourself, we have introduced a short-term parking area adjacent to the campervan parking. This is for folk who are planning to leave the site during the weekend (before Sunday), as we’re hoping to minimise traffic through the main car-park entrance to help protect the ground.
By default, you will be directed to the main car park, so if you are planning to go off-site during the weekend, please tell the car-park team on arrival so you don’t end up in the wrong place.
For either car park, PLEASE BUY YOUR CAR PARK PASS IN ADVANCE online. You can buy them on the gate, but you’ll pay a premium for it (£5 per vehicle, cash only).
KEEP IN TOUCH:
And don’t forget to hit ‘attend’ on the FyneFest Facebook event to chat to other attendees in the run up to the biggest party in Scotland next June!
