What!? There’s no way Jarl is ten years old already, is there?

There is, and it is, and we’re going to celebrate! Our flagship session blonde ale turns ten this summer, so we’re loading up late July with ten days of celebrations of all things JARL JARL JARL.

Over the next week or so, we’ll be sharing stories, competitions, surprises and more all themed around our flagship beer, leading up to 24-26 July – #HappyBirthdayJarl weekend! We want as many folk as possible to join us on social media over the weekend to wish Jarl a happy birthday and share your photos and memories of the brew.

We’re kicking off celebrations today with a big one (and you may have guessed it already from the photo at the top of the blog) – JARL IN CANS! For the first time, Jarl is available in 440ml cans – and they’re on sale right now from the Fyne Ales online shop.

For this special birthday edition of Jarl, we’ve made some small tweaks to the recipe to give it just a little more punch to mark the special occasion. This version of Jarl has the addition of oats in the malt bill and has been dry-hopped with Citra T90s for extra aroma and flavour punch. Don’t worry – it’s still the bright, crisp and grapefruity beer you know and love, but we’ve just dialled up the citrussy refreshment.

If you want to get some cans of Jarl in to help celebrate Jarl’s birthday next weekend, orders must be placed on the online shop by midnight, Tuesday 21 July. Alternatively, you can pick some up from the Brewery Shop from today!

If cans aren’t your thing but you want to raise a Jarl next weekend, we’ve got plenty of stock of mini-casks online and in the Brewery Tap for a proper cask-at-home pint, or you can grab a bottle of our Citra superstar from your local indie bottle shop or in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s or Waitrose in Scotland.
