Ragnarök & Perfect Silence Return in IPA apocalypse!

Today, we’re very excited to announce the return of Ragnarök in 330ml bottles for the first time since 2017, as well as the return of its partner-in-doom, Perfect Silence!

First brewed in 2015 as an imperial version of our flagship session blonde ale, Jarl, Ragnarök earned a cult following for being an all-out Citra celebration, with a huge grapefruity flavour profile and long, semi-sweet finish.

In 2018, with Ragnarök complete, Perfect Silence descended as the cosmos reset – a bold red IPA inspired by our Citra monster but with a rounded red-malt backbone so soften the fruity notes.

Now, Ragnarök is upon us once again – a new apocalypse for a new age, this time teaming Citra with a couple of complementary new world hops and big, hazy juicy profile thanks to the introductions of heaps of oat and chit malt. You might have caught the new 6.8% IPA recently in cask or keg, and now it’s back in bottle.

Perfect Silence sticks closely to the receipe of the 2018 favourite, with a 6.8% ABV and a beautifully balanced fruit character from a plethora of show-stopping hops including Citra, Summit, Belma, and Mosaic layered on top of a rounded, full-bodied malt base.

The two IPAs are perfect for enjoying side-by-side while reflecting on the mysteries of the universe – pick them up now on the Fyne Ales shop and be sure to let us know what you think, while you still can.
