Fyne Wins nine at SIBA Scotland awards – Again!

Fyne Ales once again triumphed at the SIBA Scotland Beer Awards, bringing nine awards back to the glen for the second year in a row!

Organised by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA), the awards see an expert panel of independent judges evaluating a wide range of cask, and small-pack beer from all around Scotland.

Among this year’s haul were three gold awards, three silver and three bronze awards with top gongs going to Workbench IPA, Avalanche and an early win Origins Brewing’s Acres, which is set to launch as part of the project’s next collection of beers!

Runners-up prizes went to Easy Trail, our canned session IPA, Hurricane Jack and Superior IPA on a day when hoppy beers seemed to dominate.

“It was another great year for Fyne Ales at the SIBA awards; once again our commitment to quality has lead to success in high-profile competitions” commented Jamie Delap, Fyne Ales Managing Director. “I’m particularly pleased with golds for Origins Brewing’s next release and our flagship IPA, Workbench, both of which we’re very proud of.”

Fyne Ales Sales Coordinator, Tom Hunter, collects Avalanche’s gold award.

Most of the award-winning beers are available from the Fyne Ales online shop, with Origins Brewing – Acres coming soon.
