FyneFest 2021 Weekend – A Note From Jamie Delap
Afternoon folks!
Many of you will know that today was due to be the first day of FyneFest 2021, had we been able to host our annual beer, food and music festival this year as planned, and I felt we should mark the occasion with a quick note of thanks.
Hopefully it goes without saying that we would have loved to host three-thousand eager beer-lovers, adventure-seekers and party-people in Glen Fyne this weekend – two years without FyneFest is two years too many. We miss you, we really do and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all their support over the last 14 months – whether it be rolling over FyneFest tickets for another year, ordering from our online shop or visiting us for beers in the courtyard – we’ve had more support than we could ever have imagined and we are so, so grateful. Thank you.
Of course, next year – 3-5 June 2022 – FyneFest will return and it’ll be better than ever. We promise that it’ll be the best festival Glen Fyne has ever seen. Trust me, we’re pulling out all the stops for 2022.
As for this weekend, we discussed putting together another FyneFest-At-Home virtual festival, but this isn’t our time. Pubs, bars and restaurants around the UK are finally open again after the most difficult period the hospitality industry has ever faced. So please – keep sharing your photos and memories of FyneFest from previous years and tag us on social media – but if you can, get out and support your local pub and enjoy some food and drinks, be kind to the staff and tip well.
Thank you for reading. It won’t be too long until we’re back together, drinking Jarl in the Glen Fyne sunshine. 364 days and counting…
