#FyneFest19 – Five More Things You Need To Know
Welcome back to the Fyne Ales blog – with nine weeks to go until our summer festival, we’re talking about FyneFest once again and bringing you loads of news about this year’s festival!
1. Over Forty Breweries Announced
We’re now up to forty breweries announced for FyneFest 2019, showcasing the best of UK beer, with friends old and new pouring across the bars – recent additions include Magic Rock, Yeastie Boys, Fierce, Verdant, Harbour and Tiny Rebel!
Speaking of bars – we’re moving some things around for this year’s festival, with the Walkers Bar open both Saturday and Sunday, Origins Brewing Bar moving to the main arena and a brand new bar – the Cocktail Teepee! These changes have been made based on feedback from last year and we’re confident that 2019 will surpass every previous festival when it comes to drinks!
2. Massaoke headlining Friday 31 May
As announced on Facebook, the incredible Massaoke will be headlining FyneFest 2019’s Friday night!
Massaoka are a live rock band playing non-stop singalong hits with lyrics projected around the stage for the audience to singalong – the ultimate party starts, warm up your vocal cords, get on the dance floor and join us for an amazing night in the main marquee.
3. Tier 2 Tickets Close To Sell-Out
We’re getting very close to selling out of Tier 2 tickets for FyneFest 2019!
Tier 3 is the final tier, of tickets and after the sell-out success of FyneFest 2018, we’d be surprised if Tier 3 hung around long once we move to the last batch of tix!
4. Site Update
Over on the website, you’ll find the updated site map for FyneFest 2019, featuring the new Cocktail Teepee, rearranged campsite and main arena and location of the new dog run! There will also be more toilet facilities across the site for this year.
Once again, we used your feedback from FyneFest 2018 to make decisions about the changes we’re making to the festival site – hopefully we’ve come up with some solutions to make the festival experience better for everyone.
5. More Volunteers Wanted!
We’ve had a great response to our call for volunteers at FyneFest, but we’re still looking for a few more members of the bar and site teams so we’re keeping applications open a bit longer.
Reminder: in exchange for a shift working with our bar or site staff, you’ll get the rest of the weekend to enjoy the festival – check out the full detailsvia the link below.
