#FyneFest22 Updates – BEER! BEER! BEER!

Hello and welcome to the first of a few BIG FyneFest 2022 ticket-holder updates – for our first, we’re chatting about the most important part of the festival – beer!

So read on for some awesome news about #FyneFest22 and what to expect on the bars this year.

1. Main Bar – Breweries & Beers

Our Main Bar brewery line-up is complete! This year’s line-up features 28 different UK breweries representing the incredible range of brewing talent that can be found both north and south of the border.

Alongside familiar faces, you’ll find eleven breweries pouring at FyneFest for the very first time, including maybe a couple of names you might not be familiar with – that’s part of the joy of the festival – trying out new breweries, new brews and new flavours and having fun enjoying the best drink in the world – beer!

The Main Bar beer list will be launched on Sunday 29 May on the FyneFest website – but as a cheeky preview, there’s 185 different beers pouring across the three days – it’s going to be fun.

2. Brewer’s Lounge – International Breweries & Origins Brewing

Every year we invite someone awesome to help showcase beers from beyond our shores, and for FyneFest 2022’s international offering, we’ve teamed up with the incredible James Clay who will curate a ‘Best of Europe’ bar across six lines in the Brewers Lounge. The James Clay team will be presenting forty beers from over 25 different brewers – from traditional German lagers and Belgian lambics to cutting-edge Euroe craft, expect an awesome range of brews from the continent on the James Clay bar this year.

Alongside the James Clay bar will be another six-line bar serving a few Fyne Ales core brews along with beers from our Origins Brewing project – exploring mixed and spontaneous fermentation and barrel-aging to develop complex and unique flavours. If you’re a fan of funky beers with massive depth of flavour, be sure to keep an eye on the Origins Brewing taps for a few special treats at FyneFest 2022.

Beer tokens

3. Token Preorders

You can now preorder beer tokens for FyneFest 2022 from the Fyne Ales online shop!

Simply order your tokens from the website, print your order confirmation and collect your tokens on arrival when you pick up your glasses and wristbands – skip the queues and get straight into the beers – easy peasy.

If you’re not sure how many tokens you’ll need for the weekend, tokens are £1.40 each and the base price of a pint is three tokens – most cask beers will be three tokens a pint, but there will be beers that cost more based on strength, ingredients, rarity and other factors – we do our best to keep the pricing sensible across all the beers – but if you like big, strong stouts or super-hoppy DIPAs, you might need a few more tokens.

4. Cider!

For those who like to change things up and maybe fancy trying a cider or two of the weekend – you’ll be spoilt for choice this year as we’ve lined up 38 different UK ciders and perries for the Cider Bar!

We’re also excited to share that our ‘house’ draught cider for this year’s festival is the brilliant Hogan’s Draught – a crisp and refreshing cider with just the right amount of complexity to keep things interesting.

5. FyneFest 2022 Glass

As a reward for making it all the way down here to the bottom of this update – here’s a preview of this year’s FyneFest glass design! We’re super-happy with how they’ve turned out; we hope you like it and that you’re starting to get excited about getting your one and filling it with beer very, very soon!
