Introducing Running In Circles – our February Mini-Cask Club Discovery brew and our first MCC collaboration! We’ve teamed up with our friends in Manchester, Track Brewing Co to brew a 4.2% hazy pale ale – read more about it below.

MINI-CASK CLUB – SIGN-UP

Each month we brew a brand new beer for Mini-Cask Club Discovery members – and for the very first time in club history, we’ve teamed up with another brewery to develop a recipe for MCC!

In October 2020, Manchester’s Track Brewing Co invited us to a work together on a recipe for a collaboration to be brewed at their brewery – that beer, Reasons To Reflect, turned out to be a beautiful, soft and juicy hazy pale ale that we couldn’t get enough of – literally, it sold out super-fast and not a lot of it made it up to Scotland.

So, for the second leg of the collab, we’re putting our own spin on a similar recipe brewed in Glen Fyne, with the same malt bill of pale malt, malted oats and light Munich malt and a similar hop schedule – though we’ve agreed to switch in Meridian on top of the Citra and Mosaic base to give tropical melon flavours.

“We’ve really missed getting out to see our friends around the UK during the pandemic – catching up and working together to brew special beers” explains Head Brewer Malcolm Downie. “When Track invited us to work together on Reasons To Reflect last year, and then getting to try the beer a few weeks later, we realised we could still do collabs and still brew exciting beers even if we couldn’t get out and visit other breweries – and of course Track were the first folk we reached out to make it happen.”

Running In Circles will be sent to Mini-Cask Club Discovery members first in the first week of February, with remaining mini-casks available from the online shop for £22.50 later. If you want to try Running In Circles before anyone else and save 15% – sign up before 1st February!
