It’s back – Daydreamer IPA returns as our May 2021 Mini-Cask Club discovery beer!

For those of you who missed out on Daydreamer in May 2020, it’s our boldest, hoppiest and juiciest IPA ever committed to cask – a riot of soft tropical, citrus and stone fruit flavours in perfect balance in a thirst-quenching 5.3% uncompromisingly modern cask IPA.

First brewed last year for our FyneFest @ Home celebrations, Daydreamer is one of our most popular cask specials of the pandemic era and for this year’s release as part of Mini-Cask Club, we’ve made a few tweaks to take it even further, with a blend of six new-world hops contributing to this easy-drinking celebration of everything cask can be.

On top a base of Mosaic and Cashmere, we’ve layered Summit, Kohatu, Rakau and the same fresh-crop Nelson Sauvin from Everyone Loves Nelson to give huge waves of fruity flavours – it’s going to be something extra special.

“Daydreamer was one of our best-selling mini-casks last year, so it made sense to bring it back for Mini-Cask Club members this year,” explains Fyne Ales Head Brewer Malcolm Downie. “We’re always looking for ways to improve our beers – the 2020 version was a reworking of Mixtape IPA from January 2020, and we’ve made further tweaks to the recipe again for this and I think it’s probably going to be our best ever cask IPA.”

Daydreamer IPA will be sent to Mini-Cask Club Discovery members first in the first week of May, with remaining mini-casks available from the online shop for £24.50 later.
