Online & Brewery Shop – September Stock Update
Hello folks, a quick update on our online shop for you to start September, and it’s maybe not the best news for those of you who like to stock up directly from the brewery.
Those of you who have been to our online shop recently may have noticed that we’re running low on bottles of our year-round classics – with a few of them out of stock at the moment.
You may have seen news reports about CO2 shortages impacting the supply of keg beer to pubs, well, the same problem caused an interruption in our bottling plan last month – and with further complications including staff shortages due to Covid-19 self isolation and the widespread slowdown of the haulage network across the UK, we’re still catching up and will be for the next few weeks.
What does this mean? Unfortunately some of your Fyne Ales favourites might be unavailable on the online shop (and in the Brewery Shop in the glen) for periods during September – we’re doing our absolute best to get every beer back in bottle and back on sale, but it’s going to take a little while and it’s likely to be October before the full 500ml bottle range is available once again.
The good news is that Jarl is likely to be the exception to the problem – at the moment it looks like we won’t be out of stock of our flagship ale at any point, but things are changing on an almost daily basis, so no promises.
It’s also worth noting that while bottle stocks might be a bit patchy, we’ll be topping up the stock of year-round mini-casks regularly so you can still enjoy your favourite brew at home, in a slightly different format or why not check out some of our small-batch specials that are mini-cask only?
